Agricultural Service Engineer
Workshop-Based Initially | Main Dealer & Multi-Brand Machinery | Genuine Mechanical Work
Location: Llandow, Vale of Glamorgan
Pay: £14.00 – £18.50 per hour, depending on experience and ability

KP Agri Ltd is looking for an experienced Agricultural / Plant Service Engineer to join our busy and growing workshop in Llandow.
This is a proper hands-on engineering role for someone who can fault-find, diagnose and repair machinery correctly — not simply change parts until the problem goes away.
We are main dealers for several leading agricultural machinery manufacturers and also carry out selected mixed-brand repair work for our customer base across South Wales and beyond.
The role will start mainly in the workshop, giving you time to understand our systems, standards, brands and customers. Once your ability and independence are proven, the role can progress into mobile work and breakdown support.
Main Dealer Brands
You will have the opportunity to work on machinery from manufacturers including:
KRONE | HORSCH | Dieci | Teagle | Bauer | Trioliet
Work includes servicing, diagnostics, mechanical repairs, preparation of new and used machinery and warranty work where applicable.
Other Machinery We Work On
Alongside our franchise brands, we also work on selected customer-owned machinery. Experience with manufacturers such as JCB, New Holland, Case IH and CLAAS would therefore be a strong advantage.
This can include tractors, loaders and other agricultural machinery, from modern diagnostic work through to repairs on older machines.
We don't try to repair every make of machinery. We concentrate on our dealer franchises and selected brands where we can provide a proper service.
What You'll Be Doing
Diagnosing, servicing and repairing agricultural machinery
Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding
Working on tractors, loaders, implements and dealer franchise machinery
Carrying out workshop repairs, progressing into mobile and breakdown work
Preparing new and used machinery
Completing job cards accurately and on time
Working safely and to a high standard
Attending manufacturer and in-house training when required
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on mechanical experience is essential
Agricultural machinery, plant machinery or similar background
Ability to diagnose faults independently and think for yourself
Confident carrying out genuine mechanical repairs, not just routine servicing
Willing to demonstrate your ability in the workshop before progressing to independent mobile work
Full UK driving licence
Basic IT skills and ability to complete electronic job cards
This position is not suitable for applicants without genuine mechanical experience.
