The KRONE VariPack Pro is a high-performance variable chamber round baler designed to deliver maximum throughput, high bale density and extremely fast unloading cycles. Built for demanding forage harvesting conditions, the VariPack Pro combines durable construction with advanced technology to ensure reliable baling in straw, hay and haylage.

Featuring three endless belts, adjustable bale density via the terminal and rapid bale ejection, the VariPack Pro enables efficient baling with consistently well-shaped, dense bales. The smooth belt chamber design and minimal moving parts help reduce wear while ensuring long service life and dependable performance in the field.

Key Features

Three Endless Belts

The bale chamber uses three smooth-surface endless belts that produce dense, well-shaped bales and are ideal for dry crops. Two cleaning rollers continuously clean the belts and guide rollers to maintain consistent performance.

Adjustable Bale Density

Operators can adjust bale pressure directly from the terminal, allowing crop-specific settings for consistent bale density and improved forage quality.

Fast Bale Ejection

An auto-controlled rear door and cushioned stroke-end ram ensure fast unloading cycles, helping maximise field productivity.

Integral Rotor

The high-capacity rotor system delivers smooth crop flow and high throughput, even in heavy crop conditions.

EasyFlow Pick-Up

The camless EasyFlow pick-up design features fewer moving parts, reducing wear while maintaining efficient crop collection.

Dual Drive System

Two drive systems ensure reliable bale starts and consistently shaped bales throughout the baling process.

Automatic Lubrication

An automatic grease applicator and oil lubrication system reduce maintenance requirements and downtime.

Roll Chute (Standard)

The integrated roll chute simplifies net refilling and provides smooth bale discharge.

XC Models – 26 Blade Cutting System

The VariPack V 165 XC Pro and V 190 XC Pro are equipped with a 26-blade cutting system selectable in blade groups of:

• 0 blades

• 13 blades

• 13 blades

• 26 blades

This provides theoretical chop lengths of:

• 84 mm with 13 blades

• 42 mm with 26 blades

Blade groups can be alternated throughout the working day to maintain sharp cutting performance. Before activation, the selector shaft rotates 360° to remove debris, ensuring accurate blade engagement.

Bale Chamber Design

The variable bale chamber allows operators to produce a wide range of bale sizes depending on crop conditions. An optional soft-core kit allows the production of softer bale centres for specific applications. The belt system is continuously cleaned during operation, maintaining performance even in dusty conditions.
