Standard Features

Ø50mm Bolt-On Swivel Towing Hitch

The bolt-on swivel hitch allows multidirectional movement, improving manoeuvrability when towing, particularly on tight turns and uneven ground.

Wide Angle PTO

The wide-angle PTO allows the shaft to remain engaged during headland turns. Please note: the manufacturer does not recommend turning with the PTO under load.

Heavy-Duty Floor Chains

Hydraulically driven floor system fitted with 32-ton calibrated 16mm Grade 80 chains, individual tensioning, and a full-width floating floor slat. This ensures an even feed rate and helps prevent bridging.

Floor Sprockets

6-tooth floor sprockets with a keyway connection and bolt-on design, allowing easy replacement without removing the shaft. This design reduces wear by up to 20% compared to 5-tooth sprockets.

Floor Drive Gearbox

• RT500 gearbox fitted to D10 and D12 models

• RT800 gearbox fitted to the D15

Both feature a 65mm floor shaft with a unique 30-spline design, exclusive to Richard Western spreaders. An adjustable relief valve provides additional protection.

Rubber Cushion Drive Coupling

Specially developed rubber coupling reduces shock loads to the auger drive gearbox, improving drivetrain longevity.

Rotor Tips

D Series spreaders are fitted with 60 heat-treated BORON tips (50mm x 12mm). A combination of twisted and straight tips, arranged in a staggered formation, ensures a constant rotor load and even material distribution.

800mm Rotors

The 800mm rotors feature five spiral flights made from 10mm heat-treated BORON steel, mounted on a 195mm rotor tube. The larger tube reduces vibration and delivers superior shredding performance and reliability.
