The KRONE BiG X 480, 530, 580 and 630 are compact, high-performance forage harvesters designed to deliver outstanding chopping quality, crop flow and operator comfort.

With continuous engine outputs ranging from 490hp to 653hp, the range offers the power and capacity required by agricultural contractors and large farming operations. Six intake rollers and KRONE’s proven chopping technology ensure consistent crop presentation and a precise, uniform chop.

Suitable for harvesting grass, maize and whole-crop silage, these machines combine high output with a compact and highly manoeuvrable design. A choice of chopping drums, crop conditioners and headers allows each machine to be configured for different crops and harvesting requirements.

Powerful, low-emission engines provide dependable performance and ample power reserves for intensive forage-harvesting operations.

Six Intake Rollers
Six hydraulically driven intake rollers compress and present the crop evenly to the chopping drum, helping produce a consistent chop while providing excellent protection against foreign objects.

MaxFlow Chopping Drums
MaxFlow chopping drums are available with 20, 28 or 36 blades, with a 40-blade Biogas drum also available for short chopping applications.

630mm Chopping Drum
The wide chopping drum provides excellent crop flow and consistent chopping quality across the compact BiG X model range.

KRONE VariStream
Spring-loaded floors beneath the chopping drum and crop accelerator automatically respond to uneven crop flow, reducing the risk of blockages and maintaining high output.

KRONE OptiMaxx Conditioner
The OptiMaxx roller conditioner provides intensive kernel processing and crop treatment for high-quality maize silage.

KRONE VariLOC
VariLOC allows operators to switch between long and short chop lengths without changing the chopping drum, providing greater flexibility between different harvesting applications.

KRONE VariQuick
VariQuick enables fast changeover between the grass chute and crop conditioner, reducing downtime when moving between grass and maize harvesting.

Compact and Manoeuvrable Design
Independent wheel suspension and wheel motors provide excellent manoeuvrability on tight headlands and in smaller fields.

Optional Four-Wheel Drive
Four-wheel drive is available for improved traction and performance in difficult or wet field conditions.

Operator Comfort
The spacious comfort cab provides excellent visibility, ergonomic controls and advanced machine monitoring for long harvesting days.

Efficient Road Transport
Depending on tyre specification, the machine can maintain a transport width of approximately 3m for easier travel between fields.
